Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “Policy”) governs your use of Knock AI and is incorporated by reference into the Terms of Service. The Service is intended to facilitate individualized professional correspondence with recipients whom a User has a legitimate reason to contact. Use of the Service for the transmission of unsolicited bulk email is prohibited and may result in suspension of your Gmail account by Google, degradation of sending reputation for all Users, and termination of your account.

Prohibited Conduct

You shall not use the Service to do any of the following:

  • Transmit unsolicited bulk email, including identical or substantially similar messages distributed to a list of recipients. Each message must bear individual relevance to its intended recipient.
  • Contact any individual who has requested, whether of you or of us, that contact cease. Opt-out requests are permanent and are applied across the Service.
  • Misrepresent your identity, including through the falsification of message headers, the use of deceptive subject lines, or the impersonation of any other person, company, or institution.
  • Transmit content that is harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or defamatory, or to contact any individual under the age of eighteen (18).
  • Transmit phishing communications, malware, fraudulent schemes, or any content designed to obtain credentials, payments, or data under false pretenses.
  • Promote any product, service, or activity that is unlawful in your jurisdiction or in the recipient’s jurisdiction, or for which you do not hold a required license, including securities offerings, regulated financial or medical advice, controlled substances, and gambling.
  • Collect contact information for the purpose of resale, or export such information for the purpose of compiling a mailing list on behalf of any third party.
  • Collect information from any source in violation of that source’s terms of use, circumvent rate limits or automated protections, or supply to us any data obtained unlawfully.
  • Circumvent applicable sending limits, whether through the registration of multiple accounts, the rotation of mailboxes, or otherwise.

Required Practices

You agree that, in respect of each campaign conducted through the Service:

  • A natural person will review each draft prior to transmission, and you will not employ any means of automating or circumventing the review step.
  • Each message will be truthful and its subject line will accurately reflect its contents.
  • You will have a legitimate professional reason for contacting each recipient.
  • Any message the primary purpose of which is commercial will identify itself as such and will include a functioning opt-out mechanism and a valid postal address.

Enforcement

We investigate reports of misuse and monitor for activity patterns indicative of unsolicited bulk email. Depending upon the severity of the violation, we may issue a warning, throttle or suspend sending, suspend the account, or terminate the account without refund. We may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.

Reporting Violations

If you have received a message that you believe violates this Policy, please contact us at support@tryknockai.com and, where possible, forward the message together with its full headers. We will investigate the report and, upon request, will suppress your address from future campaigns conducted through the Service.
